Scoil Mhuire has a brand-new pitch, and it’s made a huge difference to the school grounds. The yard that was once plain has been given a full artificial grass surface, and now it looks and feels like a proper sports area. The pitch itself is finished in fresh green grass, with clear white line markings built in. These give the space structure and make it easy to set up for football, drills or PE lessons. It’s simple but effective - the lines give shape without taking away the freedom of open play. What makes this installation stand out is the bold blue border that runs around the pitch. The contrast between the deep blue edge and the bright green centre is striking. It frames the surface beautifully and adds character to what could have been just another yard. Pupils notice it straight away. The border makes the pitch pop, and it gives the school grounds a more polished, finished look.
