Clonee School already had a play structure in place. The kids were using it every day, but the ground around it didn’t add much. It looked a bit bare. SchoolsGrass were asked to brighten it up, and that’s exactly what happened. Artificial grass was cut and fitted neatly around the equipment. Straight away, the space felt different. That bright green surface makes the playground look more cheerful and complete. The equipment suddenly stands out and feels like the centre of a proper play zone rather than something dropped into the middle of a yard. The grass also makes the area more comfortable. Children climb, slide, and run, and now they land on a softer surface. It feels even all the way around, which means no sudden change underfoot as they move in and out of the structure. It just flows better.
What really stands out is the visual impact. The fresh green frames the play unit and brings energy to the whole space. Teachers have said it looks brighter, and the children noticed the change straight away. They don’t just use the slides and climbing frame anymore - they play around the whole zone.
